Colca Canyon 01 Day Hike

Our day hike is an opportunity to experience the Colca Canyon in a different way, challenging yourself on a meaningful hike with several panoramic and amazing views. A non-classic day hike with a picnic can be a great way to enjoy nature and the outdoors without massive groups. This excursion will allow you to explore the magnificent Colca Canyon through a Capac Ñan trail (Inca and pre-Inca trails).
ITINERARY
2:50 to 3.00 am Pick up from your hotel or the main square.
Start the trip by tourist transport to «Volcanoes viewpoint» 4900m.
7:00 am. Colca Valley viewpoint, to appreciate pre-Inca terraces and the Andes mountain range.
Continue trip for about 40 more minutes to the Mirador La Cruz del Cóndor
7:40 am. La Cruz del Cóndor is the most popular and touristic viewpoint of the Colca Canyon, we stayed here for about 20 minutes.
8:00 am. outdoor breakfast with spectacular views of the canyon
8:40 am. Start the hike sorrounded by lanscapes and seeing the deep of the canyon, with views of condors and various types of local flora.
10:20 am. We arrive at Pampa San Miguel, where our vehicle will pick us up and we will drive for 30 minutes until we reach the town of Yanque.
Time to taste different native fruits and typical drink called Colca sour. Then we continue to the hot springs.
11:30 am. arribal to hot springs, where we will have the chance to relax. (1 hour aprox.)
12:30 pm. time for lunch in a family restaurant.
Return to Arequipa with stop on route at tourist attraction (habitad of alpacas and llamas)
5:30 pm. Arrival in the city center.
